It's been a long time. I'm a bad blogger. I'm sorry. It's even too late to make it a resolution. Maybe next year!
Exciting times right now! I have taken up a new residency on Saturday evenings from 8-11pm at Evangeline in the French Quarter! I am thrilled to be singing weekly with Lil Josephine on electric bass and Rhodes Spedale on the piano! We have so much fun playing this venue. I sang a few songs with them before Christmas and had a wonderful time. Two weeks ago, I was able to sit in again and we decided to make it a weekly ordeal. Who's pumped? This girl is pumped!

They have wonderful eats and drinks. In March, Evangeline will be featured on the Food Network for their delicious Jambalaya and Crawfish Grits. Y'all. Two words. Crawfish Grits. If you don't want to come listen to some great music, come for the food! You won't be disappointed. 

This new gig will be added along with Friday night sets at Morning Call in New Orleans City Park. If you can't catch me on a Friday night, now you can come and listen on Saturday night.

I am so excited about playing tonight at Morning Call in City Park from 8-11pm (THIS IS A TIME CHANGE). I love Halloween and dressing up. Blake Richard will be on piano tonight and we will be dressed up in our favorite costumes with candy at the ready. If you are going to be in City Park for the pumpkin patch, swing on by after and we will sing you some of your favorite songs! After your kids go trick or treating tonight, bring the family out for some beignets and coffee. We love to see all of the costumes!
We had such a wonderful time last week. We played some of your favorite Disney and Broadway tunes, as well as our favorite jazz classics. After taking a few requests, we sang some Earth, Wind, and Fire, Kiss, Rachel Platten, and even Def Leppard. Talk about all over the place! It was so much fun! I can't wait to see what surprises tonight has in store for us!

We will be playing tomorrow night at Morning Call in the Oaks from 7-10pm. We're doing something a little different tomorrow, we will be having a jazz DUO for your listening pleasure! My friend and classmate, Blake Richard, will be on the keys tomorrow night. He is incredibly talented and I'm very excited to play with him! We used to play in the band, Developmental Groove, together and I can't wait to perform with him again. I hope y'all can make it to Morning Call tomorrow night to hear us!

No singing this weekend, y'all! Doing some birthday celebratin'! I'll be back at Morning Call next weekend with a Halloween set! You heard me! HALLOWEEN MUSIC! I have been looking forward to doing this for a while, so I'm extremely pumped! I'll post some videos this week to make up for no live music! :)

Hey everyone!
Thanks so much to everyone who came to Morning Call last night! We had a great time! The weather was so wonderful. I hope it stays this way for a bit. It feels like football, pumpkins, and BEIGNETS to me!
Guess what! We are playing again tomorrow! So excited to have the opportunity to sing again at Buffa's Bar and Restaurant on Esplanade. We will be setting up after the Saints game ends and playing from 4-7pm. I really hope to see some of y'all there!

I'm getting so excited about this weekend! Two opportunities to see you! The first chance will be at Morning Call in the Oaks on Friday, September 18th from 7:00pm - 10:00pm. What a great night to get some beignets and enjoy some music. I can't think of anything I'd want to do more on a Friday night! :)

The second performance is on Sunday, September 20th 4:00pm - 7:00pm, right after the Saints game at Buffa's Restaurant and Bar! WHO DAT! Come celebrate a Saints win at Buffa's and grab a drink with me! We'll have a great time!
